Instant funding means you pay a one-time fee and receive a funded-style account immediately — no evaluation to pass, no profit target to hit before you can trade for payouts. You skip the challenge phase entirely and start with a live-style account from day one. The trade-off: instant accounts cost more upfront, often carry stricter drawdown or consistency rules, and some still gate your first payout behind a minimum trading period. The hidden 0.5% rule

The most common instant-funding gate isn't the drawdown — it's the profitable-day threshold. Many firms require each profitable day to close at least 0.5% of the account balance before it counts toward your minimum trading period. This rule applies to PropXP, Evercrest, SpiceProp, Finotive Lite and IcFunded. OFP needs 5 days plus 5% total profit; FundingPips needs 7 profitable days; FXIFY needs 7 days before your first payout.
